I work as a veterinary technician in Texas, I also own an animal rescue shelter. I don't make much money in my current career. However, I absolutely love what I'm doing now. I have a master's degree in psychology and when I was practicing my annual salary was in the triple digits. My current salary doesn't come anywhere close to that.
