I live in a quiet place between courage and comfort, away from the barbarians' gates and near the center of peace, where the TV sounds are far-off hissings, and the music of pipes and bells is available to anyone who wants to listen and dance. Here I bear responsibility for showing doorways to the spiritual to those who come seeking, and in turn I drink in the joy of being in the presence of those looking for their own true way. . . . in other words, I'm retired on disability and I have plenty of time to think!
