Not at all! It was a very emotional time for him to say good-bye to all his fans! Did you think over the top? Really?

There has never been a reaction from the fans like Agassi experienced during the Open. That was emotional for him. The guy is retiring after an unreal career where he changed so much about his own personality during. The fact that he is unable to compete physically anymore is tough on him and all athletes. The fact that he cried after the match was not surprising or unusual. Sometimes after a major accomplishment or ending to something even the best athletes break down emotionally.

No Agassi did not play his best.I was at the match and the fans were pulling hard for Andre.It got to the point when the fans were been rude to Becker.He did not play his best and had a hard time holding serve.The American fans and Andre also know an era of American tennis is over.Andy and James are great players,but I feel filling Andre shoes on court is not going to happen.for any American who is now playing. He has a jet and all the money he will ever need.He was hurting and had to take cortisone injection 3 times.He was risking his health one last time to give fans a show one last time.

No. The reality of it being his last match after so many years was washing over him. The huge outpouring of appreciation of his fans was overwhelming...and, like the champion that he is, he addressed the crowd in a humble and heartfelt manner.

I don't think so. It was very emotional for him. Tennis has been a huge part of his life and it is now over.
