It's slowly becoming more and more common as people are becoming more accepting and interested in people who are deaf and the Deaf community.

Seems I heard of the term "Def Jam" MTV? but it wasn't for the deaf though. I also I had a few friends that were deaf & in their car they would put their hand on a speaker & would jam out that way, be-bopin their head to the beat. Cool huh

Yes. Many bands will play concerts for the deaf. Though they cannot hear the sounds, they can feel the vibration. Most times, the amplifiers are turned face down upon the floor & this transmits the vibration to those hearing impaired. They can dance & enjoy the music just as much as those who can actually hear the sounds.
