There is federal and state aid available for students who cannot afford college. Enroll next year and go out for the team. Lots of students go from walk on to star players, and it certainly sounds like you have the heart for it. Assuming you have now learned not to quit, if you don't make it the first time try again the next year.

Once you make the team, you will be given a scholarship. Good luck to you.

Well, I am in college right now and of course I am a female who has never played football but I think you still have time to play football. Okay, so you didn't play it for most of your high school life...so what? You are confident in yourself and skills, so do something about it. Why don't you take it little by little and start saving money to go to college and try to get connections with people who are in that field. Right now, your life may seem crazy but just take it one step at a time.(I am only in my early 20's but I have been a similar situation).

You might find out why later on in life.Things happen for a reason. If it was meant for you to play football, then you will.Maybe you wouldve got seriously injured if you went professional.Think about it for a minute....You're playing with kids, kids who obviously love to play the sport.Cause you have this great desire for football, you can teach these kids something about it and maybe, just maybe, one of these kids will be the next football great because of you.Think of the positive. You're doing something great for these kids and they have joy when they come to play and remember...they probably look up to you. You're still doing something in football. And you're helping the younger generation in keeping their minds of drugs and such.Keep up the good work and please continue to be a good influence to those kids. They need you. It's in you to realize that, when you do, you will feel better. God sends angels in many forms. You're where you're at for a reason.Dont quit!

Well, it looks to me like you made a good choice, so don't be putting yourself down. If your coach was unfair to you, then try out for a public team....I've seen many. I have a feeling that if you hold your head high and show people that you have what it takes, you'll get somewhere!

Unfortunately you can't go back in time.

Maybe if you live close to a pro-team you could ask if you could try out once with them? You never know...
