Depends on whether you want average hard size or average normal room temperature size or submerged in a bucket of ice size. Average hard size is 6 inches, average room temp size is around 2-3 inches and bucket of ice (in my case) is negitive 0.5 inches!!!!!! how about that for an aswer?
