Yep, very strange. I don't know a lot about John Mayer, but to me he seems like a nerd, an intelligent one at that. How could he have a proper conversation with her?

Unless it was Jessica or John on a talkshow admitting that they are together, then I don't think that they really are. I am guessing you read it in a tabloid, which most of the time won't be true.
