If your baby does not have any teeth yet, it would be okay to give your child grape juice measured as 1 part juice to 3 parts water.
However, your baby may have a reaction to the grape juice which may result in diarhea and possibly cause dehydration.
When in doubt check with your doctor and/or pediatrician. I would only give juice during the daytime and once a day until you see how your child reacts with the juice.
Another option could be to mix the diluted juice in the baby's cereal.

Try white grape juice, but you can give your baby dark grape juice just make sure it is 100% juice and water it down a little so it isn't too strong for them.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Pedodontics recommed that juice should not be introduced into the diet of infants before 6 months of age, and never at bed time (risk for dental caries and ear infections).
Intake of fruit juice should be limited to 4 to 6 oz/d for children 1 to 6 years old. For children 7 to 18 years old, juice intake should be limited to 8 to 12 oz or 2 servings per day.
Fruit juice should be used as part of a meal or snack. It should not be sipped throughout the day.
Because infants consume fewer than 1600 kcal/d, 4 to 6 oz of juice per day, representing 1 food serving of fruit, is more than adequate. Infants and children should be encouraged to eat whole fruits (mased or pureed) to meet their recommended daily fruit intake.
Infants, children, and adolescents should not consume unpasteurized juice. Unpasteurized juice may contain pathogens that can cause serious illnesses.
Excessive juice consumption may be associated with diarrhea, flatulence, abdominal distention, and tooth decay.

The trick is to put half juice and half water. It is just fine to give it to a 7 month old as long as you dilute it down.

Water it down..be careful with juices. Although many are 100% fruit juice, high levels of natural sugars aren't good either. Start brushing the gums and whatever teeth to rid of sugar which will promote cavities early on.

It is ok, but why would you want to?
Juice will fill up your little one's stomach and stomach will not want to eat the things she needs for nutrition! (Breast milk/formula and pureed veggies and fruit.
