I know I am a young woman with an old soul, but I love to listen to the music from the 60's it just relaxes me. I love the Temptations and the Five heart beats, but I already know all of their songs. I'm talking about the sex, drugs, and rock and role music and some R & B. Does anyone know any songs?

I was a 15 year old when the Beatles turned the world upside down. I attended their first American concert,in 1964...FOURTH ROW...maddness!!!!! Listen and watch this rare clip. The music was enhanced because I was there and we never heard a note!! The Beatles later said they never heard themselves, either!!!

Ok, here you go...Lots of GREAT music from that era:

The Beatles
John Lennon Solo work (this is actually from the 70s though)
George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" (Also from the 70s)
Al Green*
Frankie Beverly and Maze*
Jefferson Airplane
Jimi Hendrix
Stevie Wonder*
Van Morrison*
Curtis Mayfield*

Just to name a few.

I'd suggest starting out with a "Best Of" compilation with any of these artists and then getting into their albums...

Good luck and happy listening.
