upper class white chick w/blue eyes and blonde hair. the media. the keystone cops screwing the crime scene. nothing else was going on in the media at the time. the murder happened right after Xmas.
lots of reasons.
and although it is HORRIBLE what happened to her, there are other things we should be focusing on too.
and it WAS about class and money. there was a poor, young black girl that was kidnapped and brutally murdered the SAME day as Jonbenet, but no news coverage! hmm, wonder why? because murdered white beauty queens sell papers that's why..it's ALWAYS about money w/the media.

To her family, who loved her, she was special, well because they loved her. To those who didn't know her, she became a symbol of how easily people can take the life of an innocent. The death of JonBenet was no more important than any other person who died that day, but it was more publicized because of how, when and where she was murdered.

They probably make a bigger deal out of her because she was a beauty queen from a rich affluent family. Most poverty cases don't make the news.

because it was an unsolved murder mystery and a supposedly perfect crime. Mix in some police incompetence, and the media over hyping it, and there you go.

Yes, we need to get our priorities straight and dwell on the things that we can change not the things we cannot.
