What is the easiest and cleanest pet to have?

a fish. they're very clean, you don't have to pay attention to them, and you only have to feed them once a day. also, it's simple to clean the fish bowl or aquarium every now and then.

My opinion is a cat. They are fairly "independent" and they catch on to using a litter box pretty easily. You often have to work really hard on housebreaking a dog. And with the smaller animals, such as gerbils and guinea pigs, their cage can get pretty smelly.

A fish is pretty easy. You just have to feed them and clean the tank once in a while.

i think cat is the easiest..dont take much to clean litter box..give them some food and water,, some attention..they all good..

Cats ,.. you just throw them out at night and let them fend for themselves... then the lazy bandits sleep all day

A leopard gecko... they can be very tame and are very easy to take care of.
