Liquid in thermometers, depending what kind of thermometers - is mercury. That's for the outdoor/indoor temp. ones.

Mercury , closest to sun is brightest, metal in thermometers is Mercury and bone is probably wrist for me.

Mars, probably one of the toe bones (Femur is the hardest bone in the body, pretty difficult to break, requires a lot of trauma to break it) Thermometers used to have mercury in them, now they have started to change it, but I forget what it is now.
