when I left I asked her if she wanted to continue it again and then she grinned "I can't". That was it. Women, what does that mean? If she had a bf, fine. But the fact she couldn't have at least said anything truely concerns me.

Probably, she already had a boyfriend. And she tried to be polite in letting you down. Do you prefer her to tell the truth; that she really doesn't want to develop any friendship or relationship with you. Maybe you didn't turn her on enough; otherwise she could have given you her phone number if you asked for it. It was brief and sweet and leave it at that. It wasn't meant to be. Who knows your paths might cross again and she might have a change of heart. This time be very persuasive but don't become a pest which is a real turn off.

what is wrong with u ? u meet a girl on your journey. u talk to her. when u talk your eyes do meet there is nothing wrong in it. being a friendly girl she must have answered your questions & conversed with u. when i am trvelling i meet many people & i talk to them to while away the time. if the conversation is intersting we do talk with each other till the ens of the journey. that does not mean that she has to continue the friendship. she might have been married or has a boyfriend. that does not stop her being just friendly with another human being.had she not talked to u u would have asked " what is wrong with her ? why can't she be friendly "

Maybe she does have a boyfriend, or maybe she doesn't. I would think that she is just trying to play hard to get, though. Does she ride the train everyday? If she does, try to start a casual convo every day, just make sure that it's not about the weather.

She wasn't interested and felt compelled to talk to you out of making light conversation for the ride. Don't push it!!! She may be committed or married. In this world it is better to be safe than sorry..she did not know you and was not taking any risks.....better luck next time....

"I can't" means "I am really attracted to you, but I have a boyfriend." Don't be concerned, be flattered and hope that you again meet her when the time is right.

You're torturing yourself for nothing. It's over. She can't. Take it at face value. She might have seemed interested, but she can't, period. Game over. Life's like that sometimes...
