I do! Even though he lost it was an emotional speech. (tried not to cry too much)
How many of us can say that for 21 years we did something that we truly enjoyed and wanted to do since the age of 4?
Andre was one of the best tennis players for a long time, he's done so much on the court as well as off with his charities and I for one am going to miss him.

Even if he's not retiring andre is the best player or opponent anyone could have. and the most respectful too. I really like the way he waves goodbye to the people who watch his game

Andre kept tennis from becoming stale... He took a sport of short haircuts and white outfits and shook it up with bold colors and long hair. He made it cool... He played with passion. Win or lose, you knew you were going to see great tennis from him. He will be missed...and, yes, he is a class act...

Absolutely, all tennis fans should agree. Having followed (pretty much) his whole career, it's been great to see his evolution as a person. Sad that he lost, but his overall sense of time and place to do so was great.

Definately. He put up a good fight in the first rounds of the US Open...it's too bad he went out early, I would have liked for him to go out Pete Sampras style.
