The visual perspective affects how we hear and interpret what is spoken. If we view it from the eyes of the speaker, we tend to give the words more credibility. We are saying them. If the words come from elsewhere, we listen more carefully to what is being said. If the dialog comes from the radio or television, we accept what is being said as authoritarian. A conversation about a person not present will be interpreted by what we know or understand or are led to believe. Music can support the theme in front of us by using music that draws us into the scene. A dark scene will be seen to be serious, whereas a well lit scene is generally more upbeat. Dawn is full or energy while midnight is full of foreboding. Quick, staccato action is viewed as in response to a threat, while slow, ponderous pace is seen as an analytical stage. Shadow tends to be mysterious. Full light declares things are taking place in the open.

The answers make no more sense than your peculiar question. Movies ARE the arts, or at least one of them. The answers you received sound like mumbo-jumbo that people who know nothing wrote. Weird!

Filmmaking is an art and like theatre it incorporates almost all other arts in its process. Visual composition helps give emotional overtone to a shot, music underscores help guide our empathy with the characters, lighting helps bring out nuances of setting and character. It really doesn't stop.
