My mother passed away from this in '66 and I was told by 1 dr. yes, it is inherited and by another years later that it wasn't. What are the odds of inheriting this glandular concern?

If you are talking about a phaeochromocytoma, a rare tumour of the adrenal glands causing high blood pressure, the isolated "phaeo" is not inherited genetically.

There IS a condition called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia in which "phaeo" can be one of the tumours passed on in an autosomal dominant fashion
