Would there be anything wrong with smoking pot, other than it is illegal. Doesn't people with cancer have to smoke pot.

It is a mind altering drug - so it should not be used.
Alot of people want to play that down but they are mostly users and probably don't want the fear of legal problems.
It affects the memory, energy level, judgment, causes paranoia... It does hurt you and can be difficult to quit.
It is illegal for a reason.

Who said it doesn't hurt your body? What about your lungs and brain cells?
People with cancer don't HAVE to smoke pot, especially since it is illegal to do so, they do it to relieve pain.
I don't believe society is changing it's views at all. Pot is bad for your life anyway, not just your body. Smoke pot regularly for the next ten years and see if you have gotten anywhere in life.

society is starting to put pot in a better lite but the government still will not and probably never will change its view on any illegal drug so dont hold your breath

I know that some people say that it can help with things such as period pains,but it can believe or not be harmful,I know a few people who know suffer from drug induced schizophrenia from smoking to much pot.

To some degree, however it is still associated with subversives. The alcohol industry wil not allow it to be legal.
