Why are some people too lazy to use proper punctuation?

Come on guys, it's just another click and one more key on the keyboard.

Especially lazy thirteen and fourteen year olds' who cannot spell.

I didn't know we were being graded on this. I think if you get your point across who really cares? What really gets me is the intentional mis-spellings, like wat,sry....ect....ect.

Unfortunately far to many people with poor grammar, spelling and typing skills have access to a computer keyboard. Many don't seem to realize that a well-structured sentence doesn't need multiple question or exclamation marks and few seem to understand the proper use of the ellipsis.
I fear we will soon see a generation, largely comprised of lazy, incoherent and barely literate people and with poor communication skills.

I agree with you. I think it is laziness for some, and some others just don't care. The people I feel sorry for are those who don't know how to use proper punctuation.

The saying, "if you don't use it, you loose it" may be right.

some of us could care less about being proper and others of us are obssesed, while others of us sometimes do not notice our mistakes or even realize that we are to put things in certain places.
