I'm not sure. I know I like reading horoscopes. I am Aquarius. I am artistic. I have friends who are Leos. They do need attention and ego stroking. So, it seems it works. But, its hard to believe that based on when you are born, your whole personality is made up for you.

astrology is by far one of the oldest form of divination. people are affected by the various location of our planet in relation to the sun at any time but particularly when you are born, this is called your sun sign. The stars, like your palm give you an idea of what we call your personal "destiny". This is important but can be inconsequential since mankind has "free will". What you have to understand is that astrology only works for someone who wants it to work. If you dont believe in something how could you ever allow your mind to open enough to give it a chance. The same people who say it is make believe would be hard pressed to prove to me in a visual or mathematical way that gravity is real. I see the affects of gravity but i have never seen a photo of a graviton. Astrology is something that has been used by people for longer than recorded history so i think there is some validity to it. People today tend to believe they are much more advanced than the ancients since we live in a "rational" world. But i would say that these people from the distant past probably knew much more about what is really important to the human condition than we know today.

And i am really sorry for ppl who have an opinion about something they absolutelly dont no about...before saying anything about astrology, y don't u at least start studying it..for all of those guys that assume that it's bs, astrology is a science...and u gotta be pretty smart to study and understand it...for all of those who said that 'planets can't influence ur life...etc' think first..we r all part of universe and we r all ruled by planets...just like the moon has the power to make the water levels go up and down in the oceans, it can affect humans...even our moods are influenced by these powers...and it's sad that some ppl just don't c a simple scientific depth of it...this is especially for all u females out there...how do u think ur period is working? the moon cycles...find out some stuff about that and then talk about astrology ;) and for some person who said that 'astrology doesnt exist cause god created everything...and etc'...it's pretty sad that u question planets and do not question what really god is ...pathetic lol

Astrology and horoscopes aren't based upon any real science or evidence. The stars and planets really exist, but they don't hold any mystical influence over our lives. They are a good form of entertainment, and they can help you gain insight into your own thought processes much like dream interpretation, but that's about it. Nobody has ever discovered what force they could influence our lives with - they're way too far for it to be either gravity or magnetism.

No, things are not written in the stars. That's baloney. The only thing astrology has to do with some people's lives is to give scammers a way to get their money.

It has to do with angular relationships between the planets at your time of birth. If you want to have your chart done, the Astrologer will need:
1. Date of Birth
2. Time of Birth (Was it Wartime or Daylight Savings)
3. Place of Birth (Longtitude & Latitude)

I agree with archer christifori, and anyone else who has sense enough to know the truth, the stars and planets have no baring on our lives. Christ is the only answer. yes the moon and gravity has an impact on weather and tides and crops and so on and so forth, but not our daily lives, all that crap is just lies that satan wants people to believe in, and its rediculous how some people are ignorant enough to believe in it.

If you are an astrology junkie like me, being told you have Asteroids in Uranus isn’t really what you want to know.
When I incorporated astrology into my psychic coaching practice it was paramount for me to be able to ‘cut to the chase’. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/astrology-junkie.html

I bet everyone answering this who *knows* it's false couldn't tell you much about what it actually is.
Instead, they have their definite answer already. Such is human nature.
Astrology has been right about me.
So what does it have to do with your life? Well, it can tell you all about you. The most fascinating subject in the world. So... all I have to say is that all is one.
