you ovulate in the middle of your cycle, if your period is every 28 days then you ovulate on the 14th day after you start your period, however the rhythm method isn't exactly fool proof and if you have had sex then there is the possibility of pregnancy. please protect yourself against stds. and if you aren't ready for children yet find a birth control method that works for you, talk to a family planning center probably in your health dept. the morning after pill isn't fool proof either

If you got your period then you are probably not pregnant, it is VERY rare for a woman to get her periods whilst she is pregnant (not unheard of though) The morning after pill is pretty sure, but shouldn't be used as a method of contraception. People have been known to fall pregnant even if they used the morning after pill, so if you don't get your period within a month take a pregnancy test, or go to a doctor, don't leave it any longer than this, if you want an abortion it is safest in the first few weeks.
As for when you ovulate it is usually around 2 weeks before your period, but can be a week, or even a few days before your period is due. As I said, the morning after pill is not a reliable or safe method of contraception, and having unprotected sex at any time of your cycle can lead to pregnancy (not to mention std's) The "rhythym" method does not work, do not rely on it.
As I said, if your period doesn't come within a month get a pregnancy test. If you already have gotten your period you can be pretty sure you are not pregnant.

I believe the number is 14, not 1-2 and i thought they counted from your last period not the next one. In any case, it is possible to ovulate any time of the month, and possible to get pregnant by having unprotected(or even protected) sex any time of the month. No form of birth control is 100% accurate anyway. Since you had your period for the month though, it is not likely that you are pregnant, and since you took the morning after pill, it is much less likely. You need to do more research about how and when pregnancy can occur, and about birth control as well if you want to be safer than you are being now.

i actually looked this up and yes right before your period is a very high risk time to have unprotected sex. You ovulate soon after your period and sperm can live for days inside your body, i don't know how effective the morning after pill is that you took but i would get a pregnancy test in about a month.

You cant get pregnant one day before your period, and you can't be pregnant if you got your period. You ovulate two weeks before your period, and the next phase - Called the luteal phase is when you are infertile. You can only get pregnant when you are ovulating. This period lasts for two days each month, but if you have sex a few days before you ovulate you can also get pregnant, as sperm can survive for a few days inside the body - people sometimes say a week but this is very rare and the sperm usually dies quite quickly. Dont listen to people who are mocking you for asking because people know different things about different things. Its never too late to learn these things and you shouldn't be afraid to ask. If you are trying to get pregnant you should buy some ovulation predictor kits and follow the instructions

You ovulate about 14 days after the end of your period, so it'll depend on the length of your cycle as to when YOU ovulate. You shouldn't be able to conceive so close to your period but stranger things have happened! You were ok to take the MAP and wouldn't have harmed yourself. Normally the best time to get pregnant is when you ovulate and for a day or so after as the ova are making their way down the fallopian tubes and will meet up with any waiting sperm.

Ovulation usually occurs 8-17 days after the START of your last period, but this time scale can only be used as a guide. It can vary depending on the length of your cycle. I can usually tell when i'm ovulating because i get crampy twinges approximately midway through my cycle. The time you are least likely to get pregnant is for a couple of days after your period, but this is not foolproof either, as it would depend on how long your period lasts

Most women ovulate half way between periods... but it all depends on how long your cycles are. If you took that awful morning after pill why are you worried about being pregnant? You can read up on ovulation and chances of getting pregnant on a number of sites.... try webmd.com

Ovulation at mid cycle is the risky time to get pregnant. The egg is released to the fallopian tube to make it's journey to the womb. If sperm happens to reach the distal 1/3 of the tube when the egg is there, fertiliztion/conception can happen. The now developing embryo then moves to the uterus where it is implanted....the rest is history.

You ovulate 2 weeks after the 1st day of your last period, that's your absolute best chance of getting pregnant, but you can at anytime. When your ovulating you have more discharge that looks and feels like stretchy egg whites! Hope this helps!
