do you think people will write it as much when the last book comes out? or even a few years after that?i love these stories and i hope no one stops writing them.

Absolutely; in fact, for awhile there will probably be even more written than there is now. People will want to write fan fic that will tell the story differently than it was written. For example, if a person doesn't like that a character is killed off in book 7 they'll be inspired to write a story where he/she isn't. People will continue to read the series long after it is completed and it will continue to inspire fan fic that tells stories the way they want it to be. Plus, other people write themselves into their stories, which won't stop with book 7's release!

Totally. I write Harry Potter fanfic and will probably do so even after the series ends. People still write fanfic for Star Trek and Star Wars after all...

Well, I think it will depend a bit on which characters die, but I think people will definitely keep writing fanfiction, continuing the remaining characters' lives on their own. Even if people stopped writing it altogether, quite honestly there's enough out there already to last you the rest of your life I think, lol.

i think that you do not have to worry about that... i can see fan ficts going on long after the last novel is complete. Harry Potter's world will live on forever!

I am personally not a fan of HP fanfics. I love the books, but most of the fanfics are soooooo full of Pottersues (Mary Sues) that I don't even bother.

look at jk rowling she was broke and i 2 yrs she became a multimillioniar.
