Because she's ashamed, and she just asks witnesses to testify in the court for her. Does the testimony of these witnesses are valid enough without the presence of the victims herself? If she appears in court, may she cover her face? Do you know the methods of how to bring a case to court without the identity of the victims be known to the public/media? In what category should I post this question?

In a criminal case, the defendant has the right under the 6th Amendment to confront his accuser, meaning to allow his attorney to question the accuser on cross-examination. There have been cases where the victim does not have to testify because the defendant has been convinced to take a plea bargain because of the weight of DNA evidence and other chemical evidence. Usually the victim will have to testify if there is a trial.
As for the people who said that a witness protection program would excuse the victim from testifyiing. Baloney. A witness protection program provides a new identity, job and home for a witness after he has testified.

she will have to testify in court and be cross examined by the defense attorney.

Normally the victim of rape does not have thier names given out.

She can hire an attorney to see about having a closed court when she testifies.
