Californians are not stupid. They are just laid back. or enjoy an easy way of living After all this is the sunshine state. And weather has a lot to do with the psyche. We have a lot of entertainment attractions here- Six Flaggs, Great Adventure, Hollywood,Disneyland, Sea World, Universal Studio, Legoland San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge,Fisherman's Wharf,etc And a lot of rich people especially the celebrities call California their home. Everybody from different states pulled up stakes and moved here. But you don't see a lot of Californians uprooting themselves to live in other states. It has nothing to do with genetics. It has something to do more with the temperate climates.

I have never had any desire to live in California or even vacation there, but I hardly believe the people of that State are stupid. If they are stupid the rest of us in America must be even more stupid for following them. It seems to me California has always been the trend setter for the States. Unfortunately sometimes it takes the rest of us too long to understand and adopt their ideas because they are more willing to think outside the box than us. Don't be surprised if in a few years we all begin to realize it was their governor who we make jokes about and think is incompetent that was the catalyst for bringing the Republican Party back to the middle of the road rather than the extreme right where it is now.

no its not genetic, i am a 7 generation Californian,although i don't live there, i believe its because the sunshine makes everyone lade back,and then i don't think there are many Californians left in California.
