Thanks.

I am a person who loves, is thankful, mellow and laid back, knows how lucky I am to be here, and knows where I'm going when I'm done ...I'm a daughter, a sister, a wife, a girlfriend, a friend to many, a Mom, a grandma, a hippy who wants to try a spiked cut with the ends tipped blue, just for fun. I am me, and if people don't like me, hey man that's ok, it's their loss. I'm content and plan to stay that way! Have a nice day!!

This brings me to an activity we had to do in our high school English class one time...

We were asked to write a paper/essay, and all we had to do was tell the teacher "Who Are You?"

I think many of us did not do very well, or he just stumped us on the assignment. I will never forget his advice for how we should go about the assignment...

He said, to look at it from the way of if we came across an alien, and you were having a conversation with him/her how would you go about describing yourself and who you are, since they have nothing to go on, or knowing the ways of Earth. What would you say!?

Going beyond the physical, being female/male, tall/short, age etc. For instance, I would say... i'm a daughter, an only child- no brothers or sisters. I am a student, studying for a degree in computers. A person who has a lot of love to give (though, I am single and unattached to a man right now). I have a love of animals, I own 3 cats. Well you get the idea. But by the same token medical definition as you put it IS a part of who a person is, NOT the only thing tho mind you, our experiences as well as medical, and emotional aspects make up who we are!

It can be hard to really pinpoint things and be honest about onself... like for these online dating sites, they as you to describe yourself, interests, what you're looking for etc... You would think a person was going to the dentist for a root canal, it just strikes a deep fear for some of us. (I resemble that comment too!)

Is what our friends are for! Many if not most have seen us at our best and worst! They know things about you you may not realize. Who/how we think we are differs from the opinion of our friends/family. We are our own worst critic/enemy, not to mention hard on ourselves.

We also have public and personal masks that we interchange depending on the circumstances. We allow things to filter through them, allowing them to see what YOU want them to see.

So, the question of "Who Are You?" is a lifelong pursuit of that answer, and changes daily for all if not most of us. We're always evolving, things/circumstances/interests change. So "Who are You?" is what a person is at this moment in time, and is all anyone can be!

Just working on being the best YOU there can be!

=)

I was a Product of Society , Now I go my own Way. I live the life I want, and not what the media feeds me. I am open minded. I go places and see Things, instead of letting the Media feed me with Their Surrogate of Life. I would rather stab my Eyes out than watch T.V. T.v is not my God. You have to Open your Eyes, and truly see what is going on in the World. I am Steven Briggs, I survived Drugs, Alcoholism, and Religion. I survive because I asked myself the right Questions. Those Being: What Do I want out of life? Do I have to Manipulate People to Get Ahead? Must I lie and Steal? Do I have a Future? Can I Look myself in the Eyes? I am A caring Human Being, but I used to be a Monster. Been there, done That. Nough said.

I am a person who is caught-up between the outer world and the inner world.
My outer world is the world which i live, My inner world is the world which live in me.

When i see the outer world, i see the scars of my life. The suffering and pain i went through, some times i see this suffering which reminded me of My inner world, and some times i see them as needless and utterly pointless which i have went through.
But in those desperation's, i came to know the power of Hope, Belief.

I started believing in my intuition. I know the power of my inner world, i want to show my integrity, I want to be me Myself, I want to follow my conscience, i want to break this timidness. But the society which i am living try to pine me down, it reminds me of all the commitments for living in this society.

I am trying to walk on a fine line, balancing both society and conscience, But some times the friction causes so much anguish, its hard to comprehend.

One thing i believe the most, one day i have to make only one choice, that day my integrity will prevail. I feel that moment is quit near. I shall break free.

I know every person living on this planet might have gone through this phase of life, some might have ignored, some might gave-up, but some do won, and i want to be like them. Its my endeavor.
This is i am !.

I am myself and I am sometimes the others when they want to be me and forget they are themselves. It is so rare. That is the reason why I believe in the copulation of the souls practically performed through physical coitus.
