If we end up in a war with Iran, gas with be $5-7 per gallon. Otherwise, I'd say we are gonna stay between $2-3 for a while. By 2010, we will be at $3-4 (assuming no war with Iran).

Only thing I know is they need to do more drilling for crude oil in the Alaska wildlife reserve. More drilling off the Gulf of Mexico and
states such as Oklahoma need to lower their spacing requirements so wells can be drilled every 18 acres instead of the current 40 acres.Eventually, we will run out of fossil fuels, that is why it is very important to experiment with fuel made from corn or some other crops. The price of crude oil will probably continue to go up.which in turn is refined into gasoline which has to go up so all the profit margins can be meet.

HA! That sounds cheap to me...gas is currently $3.50gallon here in Hawaii. Id say by 2010 it'll be 5 bucks a gallon, as soon as they build a nice Toyota truck with a hybrid 40mpg engine...I'm there! My truck only gets about 22-24mpg which is fair mileage...but NOTHING's fair at these prices!

If every physique ought to respond to this...they could desire to be making an investment in potential futures. As a guess. i might say six to seven money a gallon. we can maximum definitely be a conflict with Iran by then, and with Afghanistan and Iraq nonetheless contained in the blend, alongside with Pakistan and India, and China's increasing call for. Kinda dismal precise? properly, you asked. And for people who think of that's going to be $2.00, the backside I ever paid became 29.9 cents in step with gallon (dates me) and while it went to fifty 5 cents, my Dad threatened to end using. guess you need fifty 5 cents now, i comprehend i might.

You're lucky, where I live its $3.18. I would predict it to be like $5 in 2010. Hopefully we would get lucked out and it'll be like a dollar or something.

I saw a gas station selling gas for (cheapest) $3.49 today, so when you say it's going down, I'm wishing I was where you are.

Today its $2.92 where I'm at. On August 24th it was $3.18. I can only hope it keeps getting cheaper or a cheaper alternative becomes available soon.
