can i get the steps please? i am trying to capture an image shot and save into into my files/pictures folder

Try StickerCam:
http://www.stickercam.com
Click the Broadcast tab (on the top right), select your webcam from the list.. then if you want add some text or stickers to your webcam image.. right click the image and select save.. done :)

Click on Start.
Go to Control Panel
Click on Printers and other Hardware. There should be the link for the webcam. Click on that. It should say welcome to blah blah blah...then click next and it should show up with the picture of whatever the webcam is looking at. There should be a button that says take picture. Click it when you're ready and it'll save the pic automatically! Hope that helped!

om windowmedia theirs a little like camara ,when you see what you want as a pic you can click on it ! takes it like a pic then you save it
