My lips are just the right size, but my round face makes them look smaller. I read this in a makeup how-to:
"To make your face look thinner, sweep bronzing powder under your cheekbones, along the top of your chin and across temples; apply pinky hue to the cheeks themselves." I don't want to take forever with my makeup, and I don't want to hassle with bronzer. So I was wondering, if I use lipliner to emphasize my lips, will that make my face look thinner? How can I use blush to make my cheeks look thinner without bronzer?

Make the lips big enough and they will make your whole head look smaller.

Yes, if you use a lip liner that blends in you can fully emphasize your lips so that it makes your facial structure look smaller. Fill it in with a lip plumping lipstick or lipgloss. You can find limp plumping gloss just about everywhere now. Victoria Secert, Walmart, Avon, Mark, are just some places I'm fimilar with.
I have a rather big face and I know how you feel. I don't fool with a bronzer either because I hate anything that takes up time. Just line your lips with a lip liner that blends in with your make up and use a blush that blends in with the other make up you choose. It works. Just make sure you don't emphases your lips and make them to big, if you do this then it won't look right if your lips don't match your face and body.

if you have on alot of eye makeup, blush, or brozer, then add a pound of crap to your lips, you will look like a painted piss pot!, I am not saying this to be rude, i am trying to prevent an embarrasment. Put on your bronzer while you smile in the mirror, and apply it just beneath your cheekbones, up to your temples, then eyemakeup, a gloss would look nice, not a deep colored on, and personally, i think lipliner by itself looks old school and tacky. if you are going to define a feature, focus on the best and play that up, you don't need to go all the way when you are putting on makeup. good luck!

yeah forget the bronzer just apply blush to your cheek bones, and get some lip gloss from victoria secret. Its called beauty rush, and it comes it a variety of colors. It is supposed to make your lips look 40% bigger. It works for me...

Use a lip-plumping gloss (something from the drug store), then line your lips with the shade most similar to your natural lip shade. To make your lips appear fuller, fill in your cupid's bow (that dip on your upper lip) and the edges, along with the center of your bottom lip. After you put your lipstick on, dab a shimmery clear gloss in the center of your bottom lip.

that magazine is exactly what i was going to tell you to do before i saw your details..

Bronzer is a great thing but if you dont want to hassle with that...smile as you apply your blush.. make a light dot with your brush applier right on your cheek bone and one right on your temple... connect the dots.. dont go to low or it will make ur face look even rounder.. dont go over bored witht he blush either.. subtle but sexy is what i always say

Good luck!

if your lips were bigger it will be the most focused on your face. cause its just there. try lip plumpers. they are kind of pricey too. bath and body works sells it.

If your lips are really small, it won't make so much of a difference!
