I hope I can get some educated answers here... I was just curious... First the egg is fertilized in the folopian tube, then take 3-5 days to actually reach the uterus and implant. My question is, when does a womans body actually begin to produce the pregnancy hormone? At fertilization, or once the egg is actually implanted? .... and at 9 weeks pregnant, for example, does that mean the fertilized egg implanted 7 weeks prior?

at nine weeks conception happened 7 weeks ago. doctors count weeks from the first day of you last period, which is generally two weeks before ovulation.

I believe your body does not begin to produce the hormones until the egg implants? I should google it, and i ought to know it, but its not registering with me for some reason.
