Why do Oswego-area and the Adirondacks of New York suck?

Is it the fault of their Republican U.S. Congressman that represents that area?

Why do you say it sucks? I'm from New York and I think the Adirondacks are beautiful. I'm not too familiar with Oswego, but whenever I went by it seemed nice enough. And if you think it sucks, why is it the fault of the republicans? That's a new twist! I wonder if the Congressman from Washington State should be held accountable the next time Mt. St. Helens erupts? String the bugger up, right? That is your logic, isn't it?
