I'm not very flexible but I can do the splits.Put on flexible clothes like a swimsuit and every day when your wathing TV stretch during the show and hold your split during the commercials!

You can't be able to do it in a day I'll tell you that, it takes much practice. Practice sliding your feet outward like you're making a V with your legs. Spread as much as possible. When you are able to sit on the floor like that then you officialy know how to do it. Practice for about a week stretching your legs that way and you just might get it!

make sure you stretch alot before you try to do a split. What you do is straddle your legs on the floor until your legs are completely straight out one in front and one in the back.

You have to stretch those muscles for months to be able to do it. Warm up and then try to do a split going farther into it by a millimeter everyday until you can do it.

Be very careful. Someone in my class dislocated her knee cap trying to do a split. She was on crutches for a while.

3 scoops of ice cream, chocolate syrup, strawberry topping, peanut butter topping (instead of pineapple), lots of whipped cream, nuts, and split a banana in half length wise and put it along the sides of the sundae! Delicious!!!

Practice the concept before you actually do it to reduce the risk of hurting muscles or actual injury. You may want to try taking gymnastic classes if your interested in becoming a cheerleader, they make you really limber. Once you stretch your muscles, you will be able to do them easy.

I suggest you do extensive stretching of the hamstrings(inner thighs) before you start trying to split, (ex-cheerleader) otherwise u'll sprain something

get into a stance so that your left/right leg is bent down onto your knee, and your front right/left leg is in front on you foot. slide your front foot forwards while keeping your back leg still. once your front leg is as far as it can go, push your back leg back as far as you can until you do a full split.
