Ive had both, with cable, at least in my area, local channels are available, where with the dish, they weren't.
Plus, with cable, you can get a package deal, cable TV, phone & internet for one price!

In this area of the country, dish has a lot more channels for less money. The only drawback is you don't get any tv during a storm or very heavily overcast skies.

Dish Network!I have it,like it and can afford it.
Had direct tv,the other satellite co.The signal would
go out in the rain.It takes alot to interrupt Dish.

cable tv has better prices on bundle packages. dish only offers tv. dishes are eyesores
