My friends husband is getting ready to drive across country by himself, and I have been gettting a really bad feeling about it.
Then today she called with some news that a friend had died and last month her hubby just lost his father. She made the statement that things always happen in 3's and that she is waiting for the 3rd thing. Immediately I felt sick. I know why.
Should I tell her how I am feeling? Do you think saying it might jinx it even more?

in my family it seems death comes in threes also.
I would not tell her, she needs peace of mind while her husband is gone. Trust me I know this, my husband is military, as long as I can fool myself into thinking he is perfectly fine no matter where he is the better I am. It is not anything you could stop, so why make her miserable, let her be in her dream world while she can. If she said she is waiting for the third thing, deep inside she already knows the feeling you are having.

well yeah....it always appears things happen in threes....but really it is a set of random entropic events.

Three is a uneven number that always had a place in superstition. When arranging flowers there is always an odd number of flowers in the arrangement, 1 rose, 3 roses, 5 roses. (save for the dozen that usually gets specified for obvious reasons) It may not be absolutely symmetrical, but it does have a more pleasing appearance from an artists standpoint. It's the same way with feeling a bit of conclusion. Even on the beaches, we say the waves come in threes....but really whether they are in threes or not, there is always another one coming....so is it the beginning of the three or the end of the three...it's hard to say.

Let your friend know that you are having odd feelings about this trip....but that's all you can do. Without conclusive evidence standing in front of the semi and not letting them drive out, will certainly place you in the "she's a little odd category". Who's to say anything will happen? Who's to say anything will not happen? Maybe you're makin' it up in your head...maybe you're not. The most you can do is give your warning and let things happen as they do.

yes ! tell her how you feel !

i've done that with my boyfriend twice already .. i had a dream about a bad car accident with an 18 wheeler.. the same day .. he saw an accident happen with an 18 wheeler behind him

rather be safe then sorry.

pluss.. it wont do any harm if you just tell her how you feel .. then she can decide.. because it is their decision .. but at least you told them.. and tried

YES!!! Death comes in threes in my family. It is nearly unbearable to think about right now, I cannot elaborate any further for personal reasons. Sweetie, tell her ASAP, for goodness sake ! I don't think you can jinx fate, if it is meant to be. Bless you!

If things happen in thrinities what about trinities of trinities!

Just leave an hour later or a day behind get my drift? One minute of change will change it all.

I do believe that deaths happen in threes. Especially celebrity deaths.

I wouldn't tell her; it might stress her out even more, and she sort of already knows it's coming.

When you see things in three's, it's a message from the angels. There is no need for fear. Release your fear and know there is a plan for everything. Have faith.

That would be called a superstition. Minds are susceptible to suggestion. You really should not fall for it.
