I've been reading several racial questions today, and it seems that many blacks are still hung up on the slavery thing. If George Bush personally bought each one of you a 1 class ticket back to Africa, would you go? Why or why not?

For the love of God, this is no way a raciest question. It seems many black people are angry about being kidnapped from their country to be made slaves. I just want to know if they could go back, would they go? I LOVE blacks...I am black...I have black children.

Take a flight back to Africa??? I am home and i cant go BACK to Africa because i have never been there. So no I wouldnt go to Africa, my home and family is here in the US. Another thing, I hate the label African American, just cause Im black its african american, noooo Im American, plain and simple never even been out of the country. You dont see everyone callin whites European Americans

MS KOCK should be careful cause I know plenty of white folks who suck the system dry lying about a boyfriend or an under the table job.
Why should blacks go home? If a person is kidnapped bound and drug to another country to work for nothing then has children and grand children who are promised 10 acres and a mule then don't you think that eventually the USA should stand firm on the promises of its forefathers?
I have American Indian blood running through my veins but my mother never researched it, therefor I am non existant to my tribes. OK so I get up and work! It doesn't mean that I don't deserve benefits or that I don't have a right to complain. Now MY kids are mixed does the government offer any reservation for the black ancestors who were beaten or forced to work for the white slave masters? no , but it's OK cause they'll learn that perseverance will get you through.

Nope because why should we, we have a better life here then in Africa. Any ways it also depends on what part, too. There are lots of parts of Africa has famine, killing, drugs. I take offense to that too. How would you like somebody to you to go back to where you came from. And any ways we didn't asked to come here we were shipped over here. We were offered 40 acres and a mule for what we suffered, so where is it at. How about that. WE ARE AMERICANS WITH AFRICAN DECENT. You should watch what you say.

no i would not go i rather just stay here and be a thorn in your side and everyone that think's the way you do this world was not made just for your kind it was made for all people we are right where god want's us to be like it or not we are here and as far as the next answer to your question i think we deserve to live off the system for all the mess we have endurered being stolen, being put in slavery, raping, beaten's abused of women and children not only from slavery but still endureing it [but quietly] we will never be paid in full sorry!i did not want to go here but people like you are a disgrace to all human's

And pass over having an Australian Christmas? What?! 6 months is an prolonged time and you likely pass over your loved ones, yet get on the telephone or some thing! Christmas in Australia is genuinely diverse than an English one and that i don't think of you may desire to pass over out! you will see your loved ones for next Christmas! i could stay, in simple terms through fact an Australian Christmas is so diverse to your everyday Christmas! inform you Dad to apply the airplane money purchase your Mum a effective ring or some thing to marvel her rather :)

And when do we really pay back the American Indians whose lands we forcefully took from them, then made then WALK for hundreds of miles to "death camps"?
