I love my girlfriend more than I've ever loved anyone. We've been dating for over 2 1/2 yrs. The other day she told me she cheated and wasn't in love w/ me anymore although she still loved me. She didn't sleep with the other guy she just made out and gropped. She was really drunk and really guilty. She says shes made the biggest mistake of her life and she realizes now she loves me more than ever and she is in love w/ me. Shes says that there is a problem in our relationship that she can't figure out yet but she wants to work on it w/ me and not give up on us. I told her I need time so we're taking a week away from eachother w/out talking. But I can't take it. I love her so much and I need to talk to her but I also need to teach her a lesson so she'll never do this again. Should I take her back or not? Keep in mind I am completely and utterlly miserable right now w/out being able to talk to her.

Hells yeah, take her back if you love her so much. They say that about 40% of women cheat on their boyfriends/husbands anyway and your gf didn't even cheat all the way, just kissed and groped a guy. If you feel so strongly for her, and you're so miserable without her, then definitely take her back.

However, don't be a chump. Don't be so in love that you're blind to everything around you. If she did this to you, then it's a sign that there's serious problems in your relationship. You should take a break from her. Go to the strip club with your friends and you'll feel better, believe me. I've done that and I always feel better. Sometimes, if you've been with someone for so long, it's good to take a step back and see that there's other women out there for you. That way, you won't feel as dependent on her and can take a better look at how she treats you. Then you can decide if it's worth it to stay or go.

Well, all she did was kiss and let some guy feel her up. If she actually slept with someone else, I would tell you to forget about her. But, I think you should take her back. Everyone makes mistakes. And maybe she is as miserable without you as you are without her?! I would give the relationship another try and see what happens. You obviously love her a lot. Two and a half years is a long time to be with someone, too. You don't want to throw that away. I hope this helped. Good luck!

Ok, she admitted that she made a mistake... she made out with someone and that just it. One thing I agree with is YES, she has to learn that she did something WRONG and you are not pleased and it should not repeat.

She asks for a second chance and to work it out... she does seem sincere, but WHAT is to stop it from happening again? We dont know... but if you love her enough, then give it that second chance and ask her to remain honest with you... if it happens again then.... go.

But take the break, but dont make it easy... dont be bitchy either just make it hard, dont just take her back like that... let her really show she is interested in YOU.

Nope trust is gone you can't ever get it back, Been there tried it you can't . You will never see her the same having her back will not take away the pain you feel it will just breed anger. Let her go. People should learn to stop tolerating cheating.

I do not think you should take her back. How can you trust her? It is normal to feel miserable right now. You have grown accustomed to her. Don't take her back she will cheat on you again. No trust=No Relationship

I am sure that she feels guilty and doesn't need to be taught a lesson. Sometimes people do things when they are drunk that they wouldn't normally do.. I would give her another chance.

She was drunk this time, so I probably would forgive her. She didn't have sex with the guy. However, if it happens again show her the door.
