Disconnect the battery for twenty minutes, and see if that resets it.

this is a common thing with vets ,,it does not mean you have a problem with it,,you can try to clear the light off by removing the battery cable for at least 1 minute,,then put it back on,,if it still does it,,it probably has a sensor that has gotten corrosion on it,,this Will cause it to set the light off,,there are sensors under the car that work with the air system,,if one of the wires comes off,,or gets pulled on,,it will set the light,,if all of this fails take it,,and have a computer scan done on it this will tell you for sure what it is,,i own a repair shop,,and do this kind of work al the time,,but it,s impossible to tell you exactly what it is,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.and have a good labor day.

You need to take your car to your DEALER............NOT A REPAIR SHOP......................YOUR DEALER. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DIAGNOSE OR REPAIR YOURSELF!!!!!! DO NOT TAKE ANY ADVICE FROM ANYONE ELSE ON THIS QUESTION!!!! You attempting to fix this yourself could result in the airbag deploying, causing serious injury if you are behind the wheel. Even a slight static spark can cause it to deploy, PLEASE..........................TAKE IT TO YOUR DEALER. Im not yelling at you, just putting emphasis on the urgency of this problem. Each automaker has their airbag system set up differently. I do not and will not work on them in my repair facility. I do not want to have to spend $3000 to replace the airbag in the steering wheel because of lack of knowledge.

THIS SYSTEM COULD BE LINKED TO ANOTHER SENSOR THAT MAY BE INDICATING A PROBLEM IN YOUR CAR. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY DURANGO AND IT WAS ANOTHER DASHBOARD SENSOR GOING OFF AND LINKED TO THE AIRBAGS. ONLY A DEALERSHIP CAN RESET IF THERE IS A REAL PROBLEM AT HAND. BUT ANY MECHANIC SHOP SHOULD BE ABLE TO RESET IF IT IS GOING OFF DUE TO MILAGE ONLY.

You probably need to get it serviced by a qualified repairman. You don't want it going off while you are driving. Pops
