Use Dove energy glow moisturizer. It's great. Also drink a lot of water, you'll notice a difference in a week or so. Another good idea is to do a peel off face mask to get all the dead skin cells off.

Blending your blush slightly below your cheekbones will make cheekbones less angular. However, I think high cheeckbones are very attractive. Brown eyeshadow on your lids and brown eyeliner rather than black will look less harsh. Make sure your eyeliner doesn't go all around your eyes and be sure to blend the eyeliner so it doesn't look harsh. Neutral, glossy lips that are just a shade darker than your natural lip color will also help.

try putting a little blush on the bridge of your nose and on the outer edges of your eye brows and blend well before putting on your other make up...smile more...think of things that make you laugh and smile and your eyes will be softer.....try to maintain a calm, peaceful, hopeful, loving lifestyle and thoughts and it will come through in your face.

Removing dead skin cells at least twice a week, will definitely get your skin looking & feeling softer, and then use a good moisturizer!.......

if your fair-skinned, pinnks and peach shades would soften your look. if you're tanned, bronzes and earth shades are good. a light shade of blusher and nude/pink slipsticks work, too. don't put on dark eyeshadows, if you want, just apply light shades and a liquid eyeliner over your lashes on the upper lid to make your eyes look sexy without weighing them down.
