i am deaf but im wondering what is your opinion

All born deaf people are dumb because they have never heard the sound of anything and could not hear and learn to speak. So they can only see the world and hence they are very cool.
Whereas dumb people are not deaf and they can hear but can not expres anything verbally.

Deaf and dumb is an old term that meant .. that a person can not hear , and can not speak . That term is outdated. People are either Deaf or they are not. I don't judge people on how "cool" they are based on the fact of whether they can hear or not hear. I have had a lot of Deaf friends .. and a lot of hearing friends. Some of them I like.. and some of them I don't. It is all about personality. Not their ability to hear or not.

There are cool deaf people and there are dumb deaf people, just like there is with hearing people. I don't judge a person for being deaf anymore than I judge a person because of race or ethnicity.

Depends on the deaf person, just like people that hear you have dumb ones, cool ones and the list goes on.

The matter of being deaf does not define someone automatically as dumb OR cool, but your personality. If you have a great personality, Im sure your cool.

Just because a person is deaf does not make them dumb. Whether they are cool or not depends on the temperature of the room. lol

Depends on the person. Some feel the world owes them something because they are deaf. Then again, some people with all their senses feel the world ows them something, but that's neither here nor there. So to answer your question, if you are an upstanding person, that works hard, and enjoys life even though you can't hear, then, yes, you are cool.

I am deaf, and my mother is deaf and we are both considered to be fun to be around by people and a lot of people I know consider me to be really smart. There is no such thing as being dumb because you are deaf. Only you can give someone permission to make you feel inferior. There are a lot of ignorant people out there, and I deal with them on a daily basis. Being deaf is sometimes a blessing to me.

A person who is deaf can't hear. That does not affect, in my opinion and in every other reasonable human being's opinion, their level of dumbness and/or coolness.

Aren't your other senses stronger?
I think this would make you keener...would it not?
Who came up with that anyway: deaf & dumb??
I think deaf people have to be very intellegent and confident to make it in this cruel world.... especially, with people calling the deaf, 'dumb'. They couldn't be further from the truth.
You've gotta be cool!! Especially if you can allow that person's judgement to roll off your back and land somewhere else (like out in the yard with what the dogs leave behind)...
