Depends on the style and decoration. A simple katana would cost about 50 bucks, at least. An intricate, battle-ready and showoff katana would cost at least 150. Meanwhile, a reverse edge would cost about 30-50 dollars.

Depends on how it's made. If it's machine done, $100-200 would be reasonable. If it's hand made, it should be more than that. I've done forging with copper--steel is at least twice as hard to work with.
