Youre probably more flexible than you think, stretch every day, you'll get better over time. Don't give up hope, you can do it. Just keep trying

try somethings that will make you more flexible like yoga, karate, or gymnastics for 5 months and you should be very flexible by then. Just keep practicing.

Work on your flexibility gradually. It develops.

As for "feel the dance" - watch tons and tons of dance videos. It absorbs, trust me. I borrowed a bunch of videos from my then-new dance partner and watched them all ina matter of 2 weeks. Then I watched them again and again. My coach said "what have you been doing lately, practicing a lot or something? your dancing looks a lot more artistic."

A "ballerina" is the ideal dancer of the employer. all human beings else is termed a ballet dancer. by ability of 21, you're almost retired. while you at the instant are not employed by ability of 18 or 19 then your occupation in ballet is over earlier it starts. I hate to interrupt it to you, yet there are women who've been training their entire lives and by no ability make it. you will possibly desire to have the perfect ballet physique, too, or you will by no ability be employed. The technique training you will possibly might desire to undergo to grow to be reasonably proper might probable take 5 or so years, except you're latest technique hours of inner maximum classes on a daily basis. This places you at 26 or 27, that's previous in ballerina years. i became executed earlier 21 (ideas you, I even have extreme knee themes). there is genuinely no reason you could no longer take instructions and attain a private ultimate, even nonetheless that's too late to grow to be a expert. you could dance ballet till you're 50 in case you experience like it, even nonetheless it will be at a leisure point. That reported, while you're committed, there is no longer something struggling with you from transforming into fairly solid! you do no longer might desire to be the subsequent Margot Fonteyn or Sylvie Guillem. Dance because of the fact that's on your heart, and dance for you. do no longer enable the females who've been doing ballet because of the fact that 2 intimidate you. study from them, they seem to be a efficient source. in case you have the want to make a occupation out of dance then you definitely can look at getting your coaching certifications. those might properly be executed at any time, and you do no longer might desire to in positive condition the physique standards or technical point that a dancer might. you will possibly desire to know all of it, of course, yet once you could no longer do each little thing one hundred% completely your self that's ok see you later as you could prepare it. sign up for a ballet classification and notice in case you like it. the 1st few years will probable be boring, to be basic. that's all technique. "actual" somewhat ballet takes years of establishing as much as. stay stimulated and dance from the heart.

work on your flexibility - anyone without deformities or other physical ills can become more limber. try yoga, pilates, and/or tai chi. try simple stretching excercises, if these are others are too intense, at first. i must say i'm surprised ballet, itself, hasn't limbered you up.
