Revolutionary War minutemen: terrorists (just because you support the cause, don't deny the means)
Sexual Minutemen: I'll just call them "efficient." haha
As fo Border Patrol Minutemen? always makes me laugh when i realize how rich people manipulate poor people into fighting their battles for them. To keep them poor no less. And also found a way to instill this bravado into these obsfucated people's idealisms to challenge any other perceived notion of these very actions. It's like: "hey, you're pretty much worse off because of us, we don't want this happening, but if you think about it, you probably do. But we'll convince you its a bad idea and you'll essentially cut your own legs out from under yourself AND at the same time, you won't at all question these resolves or open your mind to exploring the motivations behind your actions and whether or not they are actually beneficial (or in truth, self-detrimental)."
But since everyone will just lambaste that as a result of that very scenario I just depicted rather than actually taking the time to see what will actually help them and what cause they SHOULD be dedicating their time to if they want the world to be a better place, it's just easier to say "OMG, DEY TOOK R JOBZZZ!!"
haha, its so fun.

I'd forgotten about the Southern rednecks who are trying to close the barn door after the horses have escaped. The revolutionary soldiers could also have been called insurrectionists if the books were written on the other side of the Atlantic.
As for calling the vigilantes douchebags, it just insults a useful implement. What they should do is portray the USA without flattering it and show all its defects so that it would not appear attractive to people on the outside. Paint the grass outside the fence brown and the cattle will stay inside the fence.

They were an influential early 80's punk band. Put out some pretty good songs.
Or are you referring the Revolutionary War era Minutemen?

What do I think of the Minutemen? They're the latest incarnation of the KKK...that is, enforcing law and order via lynch mob.

They are doing the job that the govt. should have been doind decades ago. The border should have been shut down 40 years ago. Thay do an excellent job and should be commended, and thanked for a job well done.

They're doing the work the cowards in our government refuse to do.
We have millions of foreign illegal-invaders here leeching off the US like parasites. Enough already.
