Hello,

It might be best to buy method books that help you with learning the keys such as Suzuki, Alfred beginner books for adults, and so on. You can find these method books at the local music store or Amazon. It also might be helpful to buy a book of scales, chords, and appregios. Anyways, I don't know if this is suitable, but you can use those sticky tabs/ post it flags: http://www.amazon.com/Post-It-Flags-Bright-Dispenser-MMM68022/dp/B0006ZERI0/sr=8-2/qid=1157405039/ref=pd_bbs_2/102-7503412-2439327?ie=UTF8&s=office-products.
Label them accordingly using the books I told you about. I'll help you out. In the middle of keyboard lies a Middle C. It's between a white key on the left and a black key on the right sort of above it like all the black keys are positioned. Then after you find that, here's how it goes (left to right, from white key to black key in most cases) C, C sharp -black, D-white, D sharp- black, E-white, E sharp, F, F sharp, G, G sharp, A, A sharp, B-white, then it's back to C-white, C sharp, and so forth. There's some more technical aspects on how you call those keys. But that should be satisfactory for now.

Sometimes the keys have different names - so which ones are you going to put on each key... for example - the C key might also be B sharp, the F sharp might also be G flat. There is really little point in doing this... when you play, you shouldn't be looking at the keys anyway. You are better off just memorizing them. Edit: To memorize them use the patterns... where there are two black keys... CDE where there are three... FGAB

You could use tape, but I would just take the time to memorize them before starting. There isnt really much, and you dont want to crutch yourself. Its better to be able to recognize the key to the note rather than the letter for learning music anyway, I think.

Well, you could use little pieces of masking tape and stick them on the keys, and write the names of the notes on them. Or sometimes music stores have learning tools like this that you can buy.

the one to the left of the two black keys together is C. After that the white ones are DEFGAB and C again, and so on. The black ones are C sharp/D flat, D sharp/E flat (that's the group of 2). The group of 3 goes F sharp/G flat, G sharp/A flat, and A sharp/B flat.

Playing piano is not, nor is it supposed to be easy. It takes years of dedication, music theory and practice.

With that attitude, you'll never be great... Just mediocre at best.

LOOK AT YOUR KEYS. NOTICE THE BLACK KEYS, THERE ARE TWO BLACK KEYS THEN THREE BLACK KEYS, START AT THE TWO BLACK KEYS THAT ARE ON THERE OWN, FROM LEFT TO RIGHT NOTICE THE WHITE KEY NEXT TO THE FIRST BLACK KEY ON THE LEFT, THAT WHITE KEY IS A "C" NOTE, THE NEXT WHITE KEY IS THE "D" NOTE, THEN "E-F-G-A-B-C" THESE SERIES OF NOTES IS THE C-MAJOR SCALE
