Undoubtedly he is a very good player but he doesn't seem to have a permanent position in which he plays. That can be a disadvantage when there are speacialists in all the positions in which he operates but nevertheless he is a very useful player to have around. I would like to see him settle in one position and make a name for himself in that role.

Sure, If he keeps his head down and works on his game, he has all the credentials to become a great player. He's about 22 years old

I think he can only develop properly when giggs retires and he gets a regular spot out on the left wing.

He's played out of position, but that doesn't mean his versatile. He doesn't really perform well outside of his usual left wing position.
He's an average player at best.

I think he's bit over-rated too. But he's still young and he's still got time to develop. I'm sure he'll come good but not sure if he'll be a huge star

he is overrated. i'm not sure why he gets into the england squad, but i dont think he is ready or will given a chance for much longer, unless maclaren knows something the rest of us dont.
