cats make the house stink to much and they put they're nail thru the furniture, and dogs need to be trained to go out or they will poop every where, but i think dogs makes better pets.

I preferably like dogs (I have 3). but that all depends on where you live and how much space is required for a dog. cats on the other hand do very well outdoors. if you want them to be indoor cats then consider the smell of their litter box.

Dogs are more fun, but more work...I am a dog fan myself. I do like cats too, and they are fun but not much to take care of and they don't really give you too much back on the affection level. I think dogs are more extroverted and cats are introverted....I just guess depends on what you want to take care of something easy like a cat that just gives love on its own terms.....or a dog who is more time and care but loves ya all the time, anytime, and it always, always happy to see ya......Good luck!

It is a personal thing.. I like both and you might like both. If you like to go out and play a lot.. then a dog is a great companion..If you like to stay around the house most of the time.. then a cat is great

Cats are easier to care for, if you work alot then i'd get a cat. Dogs are more loyal. I'd go for a dog if you can properly care for it.

It depends on how much time you want to invest. Dogs require a lot of time...walking...attention...play time..a cat doesn't need quite as much attention...so it depends on how much you're going to be around and how time you want to invest

It depends on how much time you have. Dogs are higher maintenance; they need more attention, and time. Cats need much less attention, and can fend for themselves quite well.
