Looking to see if others have faced the decision of pool or no pool, salt system or chemicals, choice of various pool features, not to mention the possible problems with the construction. If you have a pool, are you happy w/ it or would you change some features now that you have had a pool? Any info can only help. Thx.

This question has gone four days without an answer. Ultimately, the decision on whether or not to have a pool built is up to you. For what it is worth, we have a gunite inground pool and use chemicals to prevent algae. I have read about the salt systems and an not sold. I have seen several complaints about them in this forum.
Best advice is to hire the services of a reputable pool builder. They will give you free estimates.
