Was at library in the children's section, and there was this woman fighting over her cell phone with her boyfriend and getting louder by the minute. Poor children were sitting there watching her. I got up went over to her and asked her if she could talk a little louder, so I could record it. The annoying woman fled.

Another more serious incident involved a car accident. A woman was talking on her cell non stop, and she ran the stop sign and she crashed into my driver's side, and she still was on the phone, as we crashed! I told her to get off her phone, and let's exchange information. So please, dear people NEVER talk on the phone when driving unless you pull over, or park somewhere.

LOL You answered your question in your question. They vent publicly "because" they are rude.

I love your approach to let her know how silly she sounded. Wonder if she caught the message though.

I once worked at a car rental at the airport. While driving several people in a minivan to their terminal, one "very loud" voice was talking over her cellphone to the exclusion of the other 5 people in the van. I glanced back to see that every person there was speaking into their cellphone, but only one annoying voice was heard. I wished I had been in a position to tell her exactly how rude she was.....but I'll bet over these past 15 years, someone was able to do that.

I know what you are talking abt. I drove a shulttle at
the airport and people would get on the bus talking
and leave taking. I suppose they wanted people feel
that they were important because they could wait a few
min. to talk later.
