I have (had) two brothers and a sister.
When your young all you do is fight with them.
You wish you never had them, that you were an only child.
Well, I have lost both my brothers now. One to a drunk driver and the other to suicide.
I would give anything to have them back with me.
Now I think back to all the fighting, all the name calling etc and I regret the hell out of it.
Hold your family close to you and cherish them dearly because they will not always be here.
I never dreamed that I would have lost both of my brothers, I thought we would have a lifetime together.
At least now my sister and I are a lot closer, we live in different states but we make the effort to visit often, call often, and be there for each other.

I would like to have both a brother and a sister. A brother can teach me the ins and outs of relating with the opposite sex, and be a protective device if I get some crummy boyfriend I want to shake. And a sister who I can go shopping with, talk about boys, hang out at the fun spots and teach me about clothes, hair styles and just being a respectable girl in general. . .
