My daughter is 13 and if she dates, I will have him arrested if he comes to my home.

Take them to an orphanage so that you will be more attractive to the opposite sex.

you cant really "Prevent" a 13 or 14 year old from dating. The only way you can help stop your daughter from dating, is have a talk with her explaining why she is too young to date. Tell her that it is OK to have dates with boys but just explain to her no kissing, and deffinetly no S.E.X untill she is happily married! The only way you can actully "prevent" dating from happening is to follow her 2 school and watch her every move. And i dont think ur daughter would appreciate that too much..lol!

be the parent and say no. what do you think a 13 year old considers dating. it could just be a movie at the house with you sitting in the living room. give her a break. if you tell them that you will have them arrested that will help. but be prepared for the heartache that your 13 year old will have to face at school.

First of all I can PROMISE you that if you have someone arrested for coming to see your daughter you will do the EXACT opposite of what yo're trying to do. You NEED to trust your daughter more.If you raised her right, she WILL make the right decisions. My son is 14 (almost 15) and I HATE the fact the girls are all over him, BUT I KNOW he has never had sex...How do I know this? He tells me, Why does he tell me? BECAUSE WE HAVE TRUST! Kids are SO much smarter than we give them credit for. Give her a little more space and she'll make you proud!

You can't really stop them without your daughter learning to hate you. You may think it's absurd, but I think you could come to a compromise. Offer to get to know the boy and maybe chaperon a date. Having a kid arrested is a bit over the top.

dude, get over, ALL kids go through PUBERTY and DATE other children. My mother was like that, she realized kids need a life too, unlike most, if they don't date at this age, then that's okay, normal, might result in LOW self esteem later on down the road, but I don't think it's very reasonable to call the cops just because your daughter's male friend comes to your home, that's juts blowing it WAYYYY out out of proportion there.....

You can't have a kid locked up for going to your place, especially if he was invited by your daughter.
If you don't let your daughter learn about dating now (when dating is innocent since she's young), she'll never learn and will probably get taken advantage of when she's older.

I don't allow my 14 year old to date. It's as simple as putting your foot down, as a parent.

You don't. If you're threatening arrest, the problem started years ago. Educate her, don't restrict her.
