Only you can do that. My brother hung himself and it destroyed everyone around him, but if you REALLY feel that low, no one can tell you to keep living. The fact that you are on here means you don't really want to die. You're asking for help, attention or some kind of response to your hurt. Hope you find what you need. Is dying worth it?

Go outside and smell a flower, look at the sky, remember someone who loves you. Now go inside and face whatever problems you have. If it is someone abusing you realize there are places to go to get away from it...look up crisis line in the phone book...tell a guidance counselor at school...if it's not someone else hurting you then decide what you can do-clean yourself up and go out into the world and find what you need whether it's counseling, rehab, friendship, a better job, better health or all the above. Everyone forgets that life is about LEARNING from your mistakes-not beating yourself up because you made them-forgive yourself and find a solution to whatever problems you have so you don't waste that time you could be living the life you want regretting the life you have. If the problem is something that absolutely has not cure then understand that you still have the choice to live a decent life if you can find a way around or compensate-although I think there are few problems you can't make some kind of positive change even if it's just taking the help of others with a positive attitude and enjoying what you can...you know smell a flower, laugh at a joke, enjoy the good moments...

You should live because you want to live. Sure you could not go on living and hurt those around you, but you may not ever know that. Life is what you make of it. You can go out and have fun with the life that you are given or you can sulk. If you have depression you can do something about it.
If this is a simple question based on reasons people live, then here is my answer; I go on living for a couple of reasons. The first one is that I am now spending so much time and effort trying to be something. I want to see what I become and what I can do. The other reason is that that I want to make a difference in someones life, if only one person. I want to be remembered.
These are MY reasons for living. Only you can give yourself "a decent reason to live". Explore and you will be able to answer your own question.

Because God makes this call, and only God! Everyone has a purpose. What our purpose is, sometimes is never made clear. We are a small splash of paint, on a large canvas. Without you, someone will not be able to connect to their destination and things will fall apart. If you are a non-believer, think back, there has to be something in your past that someone said, or did, that made a big difference in your life. Without them you would of still been in the dark. Not all rewards are noticed. But that doesn't make them any less real. Be strong and have faith, and continue your journey in life, knowing, " you do make a difference".

If you are just hurting and you need some reassurance that things will get better, they will because they always do. In your earlier post you mentioned guy troubles and frankly there isn't a woman online here tonight that couldn't relate to what you are going through. You previously asked why you get rejected by guys so much, and it's likely the same issue that affects so many men and women -- low self-esteem. You need to like who you are before anyone else can begin to like you, that seems oversimplified I know but it's the truth. Once you begin to like yourself more it will show to others and guys will respond more favorably to you.
If the hurt goes so deep that you feel like you want to end your life, call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline immediately at 1-800-784-2433. Suicide is never the answer and there's always someone ready and willing to help you get through the pain.

life is a short time in the way of the big picture. Every experience that you have is a gift to treasure. Imagine not ever having the priviledge of existence. Everyone makes an impact on this journey we call life, it's what makes up for all the petty things that happen and go wrong. Get to know yourself and what makes you indeed happy and avoid anything that contaminates that happiness. Its a short but lovely trip!

Sure, I can give you a decent reason to live ... you're you. I'm sure you're a really nice person who is just a little bit down at the moment. Keep posting. You're not alone. There's so much to live for it'd be a shame not to ...

Food. I'm not talking scarfing down mass quantities, Beldar. I eman truly experiencing real Italian pizza in Napoli or tonkatsu doen just right in Tokyo or succulent shrimp as fresh as anything at Seafood Center in Singapore. Travel and eating your way around the world--nothing better expect possibly having great sex afterwards.
