I realize that America is not ideal, we were involved in overthrowing Iran, we have convert operations in Venezuila and let's not forget Korea and Vietnam, just to name a few. The US has more military bases on our countries as a defense but will not allow anything NEAR it's own borders, i.e. Cuba. But all government do that, there are thing which all countries must do in order to influence the world. Some things we can accept, others like Iraq, just pushes things too far for even us to say, that's ok.

The problem is most American don't care about history or our conduct in other countries. They hated history in school what makes you think they want to learn anything new when not forced to. They buy the newspaper to read the comics, see the society page, look for movie show times, see home prices and read up on stocks. The latter two are for the educated among us. If American's were smart, we wouldn't be so easily fooled by the current Administration's Spin Machine. Rove understands this and that's why he's so effective.

I hope that all you bleeding heart liberal fools realize while you openly tear this nation down, accusing it of everything from war profiteering to starting a war for oil, to committing terrorist acts that if you lived under the regimes of the nations that shelter, condone and even sanction the true acts of terrorism THAT REALLY HAPPENED, you would be arrested, tortured and probably killed slowly for stating your inane and silly opinions.

Do you realize that if you engaged in this kind of activity; eg. treasonous verbal assaults on your nation during World War II, that you would be arrested, tried and probably hanged or imprisoned for life? And you would deserve it! It is people like you and the idiots you commiserate with, opining your liberalist fantasies, who constitute a large percentage of this country's enemy faction! Dissent within our ranks, defaming our President openly in earshot and within the airwaves of the global communication system go far in undermining our nation's purpose.

Get a clue, idiot! We are the good guys! We're fighting an enemy that has openly and verbally detested us since before I can remember. This enemy stops at nothing; televised be-headings, hijacking and flying aircraft into buildings; car bombing, the list goes on and on. But stupid little sleazebags like you want to claim that we provoked them???? And that our military REACTION to their provocative actions constitutes terrorism on OUR parts?

Do the US a big favor and take a walk on an active train track will you? Or better yet, go live in one of the arab countries you feel such sympathy for. The US doesn't need any of you and would be well rid of you.

Worthless waste of flesh you are! And I'm not just talking about the cretin that originated this post; I'm directing this to any one who agrees with this turkey. OOOOHHHH! Mean spirited! Insensitive to the plight of the poor, peaceful I-rackies and other A-rabs! Wish I could spell the sound of spitting.

I always find it amazing when people think governments should be squeaky clean and saintly. They are governments. That is how they work. The American government has to interact with the governments of other nations, whether they are "good" or not.
I think if you like living in this country, then don't whine and complain about how we have what we have.
I'd like to see you do their job for a few years and see what state we are in when you refuse to do anything impure.
If you don't like our government, move out. You are free to do so.

Like the World Trade Center in 1993 and 2001? Like the USS Cole, the destroyer that was attacked in Yemen? Like the Pan Am jet over Lockerbie Scotland? Like the Katyushas fired on Haifa? Like the London train bombings? Like the Madrid train bombings? Like the Bali bombings? Like the Nairobi US embassy bombing?
You have the right to your opinion. You have the right to be wrong. What I find amazing is that otherwise intelligent responders on this site have agreed with your quantifiably false accusation. Shame on you and shame on them.

True but don't limit terrorism to the U.S., if you look at history you will see that all of the "super power" nations have done this: British Empire, the French, the Spanish, the Romans. Right now it is us, in some time it will be someone else. Terrorism is an evil of mankind not something that is limited to specific nations.

Sure do realize. Our government and the government we support financially in Israel are two if the biggest terrorist threats the world has ever seen.

None of those acts are terrorism, terrorism is defined as violent acts designed to instill FEAR into a population and government. Those acts do not live up to that definition.

Yes there is such a thing as a stupid question.
