Just wondering what would be a good goal to set for upcoming XC season. usually I get 22-23, so improvement is needed.

if you are in the 22-23 range, i don't think breaking 19 would be an unrealistic goal. Just make sure you train hard.

If you want a more specific number for what is "good", see if you can find results for some of the meets your school was in (preferably conference and/or whatever your state series is called). Those will give you an idea of what it takes to be all-conference or advance to state.

Good luck.

For you I have no idea. But if you wanted to know a good time for a girl, it would be 19-22 minutes. For you it would be lower.
